Who doesn’t want to make more money for the end of the month?
It doesn’t hurt to have a couple hundred (or a couple thousand) dollars extra at the end of the month come bill time.
What this means is you’ll have to spend some time bringing in those extra dollars (which can be less painstaking than you think).
For example, I spend a few hours a month writing for a link building site that pays per word, and at the end of the month I have a nice chunk of cash that I get to decide how to use.
You can do the exact same (or even more) even if you’re already busy as it is, but first you need some good ideas to get you started.
Whatever amount of time you have on your hands, here is how you can make some extra cash without all the extra stress at the end of the month.
11 Easy Ways To Make More Money For The End of The Month
Refer Your Friends
Many people make some extra cash by referring their friends to money saving online programs like Ebates.
You get cash in your Ebates account for every friend you refer ($5) and you get money back for shopping with them.
That’s two ways to earn. Pretty darn cool.
Get started with Ebates here and get your first $10.
Rent Your Things on Fat Lama
Fat Lama is an online platform where you can set up the things you don’t use (but that are still in good condition) for rent.
It’s kind of like the renting version of Ebay. It comes complete with insurance and guidelines so you make sure you always get your items back in good condition.
All you have to do is create your account, and then create your first posting.
With the sharing economy being more and more of a thing, renting your items online is downright pure genius. Best of all you can make some money without doing too much work.
P.S. You can also refer your friends and get $25 for it.
Take Online Surveys While You Binge Watch Netflix
With some patience and consistency, you can make some extra cash by taking online surveys on your free time.
Depending on which survey sites you like best, you’ll be answering questions about your preferences, watching videos, or even playing games.
Here is a shortlist of great survey sites to get you started on your Netflix and survey money-making venture:
Deliver All Kinds of Food The New Way
Uber has finally launched its delivery service, Uber Eats, and as you can guess, they need drivers to get the food delivered (which is where you come in).
This is great if you have a couple hours of free time during the day and have a decent car.
Pet Sit Around Your Neighborhood
Warning: Probably not for you if you don’t absolutely love furry friends.
But, chances are, if you have neighbors, they are likely to have pets that need pet sitting when they are away or simply need a ‘pet break.’
I’ve known two people who’ve done this over the summer, and they got to pad their savings account for simply taking care of locals’ pets.
It’s a creative way to earn, especially if you love animals more than people.
Start A Lifestyle Blog (Like Me)
Of course I’m going to include this money-making venture here. ?
Why? Because it works and it has HUGE potential to turn into more than a side hustle (like completely replacing your job plus some more).
I’ve already been able to publish my first income report and I’m ecstatic for the income growth and what is to come!
Needless to say, if you haven’t caught the blogging bug yet you’re missing out.
Here is THE guide to get started creating (and the steps to monetize) your first blog.
Start Coaching Your Expertise
Is there something you’re really good at that you can teach without a problem? You can absolutely channel that into a little coaching business either in person or online.
Many people are using online platforms like Google hangouts or Skype to be able to coach people around the world on all sorts of things.
Best of all you get to choose your own hours and your earning potential.
Teach English Online for $18-$22/hr
VIP Kids is one of THE greatest ways to make money online that I’ve come across thus far.
You get to teach English to kids in China for great pay and you get to choose your own hours. And you don’t even need to create lessons plans (it’s all provided for you).
It’s such a great side hustle I wrote a complete post (which you can find below) with all the details you need to get started.
They are currently in need of recruiting new teachers as more parents are signing their kids on.
Flip Things You’d Throw Away
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. It’s true.
And with the internet it’s even truer.
Flipping used items in good condition is how thousands of people reel in a good amount of extra cash at the end of the month.
The sky is the limit to how much you can earn flipping to the point where many people have made it their full-time job.
With Decluttr, you can send in your old movies and electronics and make some money off them.
Sell Your Knowledge
People are constantly looking to learn something. And whether that’s through e-books, or creating your own course through Teachable, you can be the one to teach them.
The question is: What do you know about, or what can you learn about that you can teach others on?
For example, you can create your own e-book with Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing and sell it online.
If you like to teach, this could definitely be your gig.
There Are Tons of Ways to Improve Your Income
…You just have to be willing to put in the work.
I like to think about it as reallocating time. The time that you used to spend watching TV or doing absolutely nothing can be allocated towards your side hustle.
And best of all it doesn’t have to be something that takes over your life (hence SIDE hustle) but something you dedicate a few bits and pieces of your time to. ?
The key is being consistent to be able to watch extra income start coming in.
Anyway, I love compiling list of ways anyone can make money online.
If there are any money-making ventures out there that I’ve missed that are worth mentioning, don’t hesitate to let me know about them below!
