Lately I’ve been all about succulents!
I love them and I love just how EASY it is to take care of them. They aren’t the type of needy plants that die if you don’t give them enough attention.
They pretty much love being left alone. And let’s not even get into how gorgeous these easygoing plants can be.
They come in all kinds of colors, shapes, and sizes and you can combine them every which way.
I decided I’d try to make a succulent planter idea you can recreate at home in 5 minutes ALL with dollar store materials.
Succulent planter idea materials
For this planter you really only need four things: These are:
Your 2 favorite succulents (you can find these at 99 cent stores!)
A medium sized clear plastic bowl (also findable in dollar stores)
And a bag of pebbles (also a dollar store find!)
how to put your succulent planter together
First you’ll want to add a handful of the pebbles at the bottom of your plastic container.
Then add a bit of dirt to cover them (you can get some from your succulent planters.
And then carefully take the succulents out of the plastic planters they come in and gently place them into the bowl, accommodating their roots and packing in extra dirt if needed.
Then you’ll want to take the rest of your pebbles and use them to create a layer of pebbles on top.
And now? Well now you’ve got yourself a pretty cute planter idea to decorate any corner of your house!
