Planner printables are quick and easy to put together!
It happens way too often when you grab a random piece of paper to write out a to do list or write down a really important piece of info that you inevitably end up losing!
Trust me, I know.
It’s happened to me more than once.
The real problem is that we don’t have one place to keep all our things.

Now, in an emergency, or if you need to grab some important snippet of info on a whim, a printable planner can be SO useful.
As I like to say, a piece of paper won’t change your life, but it’s the intention behind it (in this case a printable planner) that matters.

How To Organize Yourself
Before starting your own DIY printable planner you kind of have to ask yourself where you’re at when it comes to getting organized and getting rid of the tangled mess you might be calling your life right about now. Here are a few tips to get you started.
Create an audit of your life
Sitting down and auditing your life is one of the BEST things you can do for yourself (and for those around you as well)! This might mean taking a look at your credit card balances, what your overall debt is, what your goals for the year are, along with a list of things you WANT to do vs. a list of things you NEED to do.
To sooner you can unjumble anything that isn’t organized the sooner you can gain clarity on what you need to do to move forward with all your hopes, goals, and dreams.
Start budgeting
When you start budgeting you start getting a clearer picture of where exactly your hard earned dollars are going. It sucks to navigate life not being exactly sure how much you can spend freely without worrying or having to get anxiety about a purchase.
I was given some funny sounding advice one day that makes SO much sense once you understand it. And that is: Commitment is the best form of freedom. Avoidance just keeps you tied down and stuck.
Too many of us aren’t willing to commit to a habit such as journaling, or exercising, and in this case, budgeting. But once you commit to it even for a month you’ll see how much better you’ll start feeling about your finances.
And creating a DIY printable planner can SO help with that!
Create your own planner
Creating your own planner is SUPER easy and isn’t as intimidating as it sounds. The great thing about it is that you can completely personalize it to the level where it fits your unique needs and lifestyle. So that helps make it more useful to YOU and what your NEEDS are.
Start a small morning routine
A morning routine does wonders for the rest of your day and how productive it turns out. Now, its good to remember that productivity does not look the same for everyone, but if you aren’t getting what you want to get done off your to-do list for the day, it might be because you aren’t starting your mornings off as best as you could. I write more about it here.
Journal before bed
Journaling before bed helps you get all your thoughts jumbled and can even sometimes help with anxious thoughts and worries. That way you don’t go to bed tense, and you can take as much advantage of your sleep hours as possible.
Some people prefer journaling in the morning, or journaling both in the morning and at night. But the point is to get into a habit where you fill out a notebook, or even a Gratitude Journal that can guide you through a small, 5 minute journaling session.
Keep everything in one place
This goes back to keeping and creating your own planner. This helps HUGELY with keeping all your important information written down in one place. Whether that is making sure you DIY your planner or buy it, its worth taking the time to do it!
