Okay, let’s be real here. Planning meals for a large group while camping can be daunting, especially when you’re in the middle of nowhere with limited resources.

But fear not! By considering a few things, you can create a practical, easy-to-make, and most importantly, delicious menu.

Here are some factors to consider before you do meal planning in your meal planner:

  • How long will you be camping? If you’re camping for several days, you’ll need to plan for more meals and consider food storage options.

  • How many people are you cooking for? Knowing the size of your group is essential to determine how much food you’ll need to prepare.

  • Are there any dietary restrictions or allergies you need to consider?

It’s essential to check with your group members if anyone has any food allergies or dietary restrictions to ensure everyone can enjoy the meals.

  • Do you have access to a stove, grill, or campfire?

Knowing what cooking equipment you’ll have at your disposal will determine the type of meals you can prepare.

  • What kind of storage and cooking supplies do you have? This includes things like coolers, food containers, utensils, and cooking pots.

Make sure you have the necessary supplies to prepare and store your meals.

  • Use Foil Packets for Easy Clean-up: Foil packets are a godsend when it comes to camping meals.
